wanted: kiln sitter w multiple automated settings

I have an Olympic kiln, about 20 years old, with a rudimentary kiln
setter---cone shutoff and timer shutoff. Does anyone know where I could get
an attachable control unit (reasonably priced) that would in addition let
you set a series of timed phases which would increase or decrease heat
settings (such as come standard with the new kilns)?

Hi Terry & Clayarters,
We use the new "ramping" kiln sitters from Dawson, LT-KR2. They are
terrific. There have been no returns to date.
It is a little taller than the old style sitters with an extra knob on the
bottom for you to chose X-slow, slow, medium or fast ramps. It can also be
set to cycle the elements on & off at a percentage that you can chose (for
drying out pots or warming overnight, ect...).
You will need to add 12VDC relays to switch the power.
They are available @ W.P. Dawson as well as Euclids.
Call me if you would like me to fax you some info.
