I just got done testing on pure white porcelain at cone 10. Note that I =
didn't
have any colored claybody which could have shown through, but also note that
testing white on white really reveals any color in the glaze. These were my
whitest favorites.
Chappell's SG-243 =5E10 ox

Buttery texture, covering some texture on piece
Semi-gloss bordering on glossy
Opaque
True white

Silica 28.0 (I used 325 mesh)
Dolomite 10.0
Gerstley 6.0
Whiting 3.0
Kaolin 2.0 (I used EPK)
Zircopax 5.0
...Chappell says to add CMC but I didn't.
