Please don't yell at me LOL - I did check the archives and did not find what I w
What I would like is a food safe, white white (not off white), for ^10 oxidation
There are many recipes for ^6 - but few for ^10.
thanks,
Naralon

This was listed as Vivika's white and I assume that means Vivika Heino(sp?)
We ran tests on it at cone 10 and it was the whitest I've ever seen.
=5E9-10
Barium carb 25
Whiting 125
Zinc 20
G-200 523
Zircopax 91
Flint 216
Bentonite 30
Now, Barium is toxic so try it with strontium for food surfaces, Zinc =
vaporizes
so you can probably leave it out (thanks Tom Buck for the comments made at
NCECA), the G-200 is a Feldspar for which we subbed custer 1-1, and the =
Zircopax
could be any Zirconium opacifier I think.
BTW we did use a very low low iron White firing body for this test, Ben
Good luck=21=21=21
