looking for potters on long island, ny

Are there any Clayarters out there from Long Island, New York?

I'm planning a move there from New York City where I've been working in
school studios, like Greenwich House and more recently the Westside Y. I'd
like my own studio eventually, but initially I'd like to find a place to
share and work with other potters. So I'm wondering if there are any
cooperative or school studios or someone who would be willing to rent space
in their studio on Long Island. I would also be interested in working as a
studio assistant in exchange for use of studio space and kiln. Long Island
is a big place so I guess I should say I'll probably be living somewhere
between Port Washington and Huntington.
