Hi, folks!
Anyone have a reliable recipe for a Cone 9 white glaze that tends to
crackle? I have a special project that calls for that look.... I'd use a
low fire clay body if I could -- but this piece is going to need the full
strength of vitrified stoneware.
Thanks in advance for any tips!
Ciao for niao! (and Happy Holidays :))

Dear Ellen:
This is a classic crackle recipe for cone 10. It should work at cone 9, but
will probably be less shiny.

It's pretty shiny at cone 10. You can use it as is or add opacifiers, etc.
Regards,
June
