We did something similar, accept we left the pipes empty,
gluing a female adapter on to the top end. These were
finished off with male screw in plugs that were drilled for
the eye bolts. After getting to the location these were
then filled with either sand or water. This was dumped out
at the end of the show. With this arrangement we don't have
to carry the weight of the ballast around from location to
location.

I've never bought a booth, but I researched it pretty heavily for a =
while, and all the seasoned crafters I met at shows seemed to favor the =
Craft Hut. Also, the niftiest weighting system I saw was as follows:

Get 3'' PVC pipe; cut it into 1-1/2 to 2-foot lengths, plus a cap for =
each length you need. Seal a cap onto one end of the pipe using PVC =
