Paul. Perhaps you could extend the life of your rasps. Rub some wax - =
candle or beeswax - over the rasp, keeping it out of the grooves. Then =
put some acid on the rasp for a minute or more, so it will eat into the =
unprotected metal. Then give the rasp a good wash in warm soapy water. =
Recommended -wear rubber gloves and face mask, and do it outside or in a =
well ventilated area.
