Full high test only, lattes accepted!

Yes, but only if it is decaf

Again, only if it is decaf, or worse, that freeze dried stuff!

Cone 6 if you read Ron and John's book. Cone 10 if you have Val's Handbook,
and raku if you have Steve Branfman's books

You need to add Coffee Mate.

Cheating for sure!

You will never make a significant coffee mug. Its all been done before and
there is no such thing as creativity. Its all been exhausted, its like
getting to the end of the internet.

I just have a few questions about your suggestions for developing glazes...

Does it matter if I use Decaf coffee or regular? Instant, Electric perc or
Drip?
If my coffee causes my glaze to crawl do I need to calcine it?
My coffee tends to settle to the bottom of my mug, Do I need to flocculate
it or deflocculate it?
Is that coffee for cone 6, cone 10 or raku? Gas or Electric Stove?
What if I can only pitfire my coffee, will it still be food safe?
Do I need to wear a respirator when I make my coffee?
I want to drop the firing time in my microwave from 3 minutes down to 2 when
firing my coffee, Do I need to add more fluxes to do this?
Will my coffee leach into my glaze?
Do you know of any labs that can test my coffee to make sure it is foodsafe?
If my coffee freezes in my studio this winter can I just thaw it out and
reuse it?
Can I put my coffee on a Giffen Grip to stir it, or would that be cheating?
Does it matter if I make art or craft or functional pottery while I drink my
coffee?
I like my coffee with 2% Milk and 2 packets of Nutrasweet? Do I have any
legal rights regarding the recipe for my coffee? Can I patent this
recipe?

I have a very complex ritual for drinking coffee involving rolling out of
bed, with may hair all sticking up, reading a newspaper and eating sticky
glazed donuts...Is there anyway that I could convey the social significance
of this ritual to potters living in the far east or are the cultural
barriers to understanding this too steep to overcome? If they don't fully
understand my ritual, how will they ever make a significant coffee mug?

ps...everything Jonathan said in his original post was right on the money..

...and who wouldn't want a book from Ron and John, sheesh..these guys could
double the cost of the book and it would still be a bargain...especially
when I think of how much I have paid for some college classes where I
learned a lot less than I have here.
Thanks to all of the folks who dispense their knowledge and wisdom so freely
and cheerfully...
