looking for workshop

Hello folks,

I finally figured it out; the only way for me to actually register any
substantial improvement is to take off for a week or so, eat, breath and
mess with clay without interference. So, I have decided to "shop" around
for a workshop that concentrates on throwing with little of anything else
and I don't care if I get to keep anything, except of course my new skills
and the shirt on my back ;)

Preferably within 500 miles radius of Chicago and Summer months or
thereabout, but it's not set in stone if it's worth my while. So I turn to
all of you for suggestions and experience.

Thank you, :)

WARNING: I cannot be held responsible for the above
because my cats have apparently learned to type.

I attended a Steven Hill Workshop in Kansas City, MO in the summer of 2000.
Steven was wonderful! The studio was open early morning til late at night.
It was a single firing workshop but we also concentrated on throwing. You
could throw as much as you wanted and work as long as you wanted. I learned
alot of interesting techniques and alot about glazing. We visited 3 other
nice studios and a museum in Kansas City. His studio is very spacious and
clean. I was very happy with the workshop and Steven was very helpful with
any questions I had. I would highly recommend one of his workshops!!
Thanks,
Tammy Clark
