I'm trying to find resources on methods of photocopy transfer to clay and
have had no luck, at least online and our local bookstore's ceramics section
is weak. If anyone has any recommendations for books, websites, etc.
discussing this technique I would love to hear about it. Thanks!

I hope to know more about this process after February 18, as can any
interested parties living near Florence, South Carolina.

DEMONSTRATION OPPORTUNITY

I have arranged to have Steven Hewitt and Vanessa Hewitt Grubbs, both
clay artists working in Columbia South Carolina, come to our university
for a brief demonstration of these transfer techniques. Steven creates
computer generated images which are then transferred to clay, while his
daughter, Vanessa, works with decals.

The demonstration will occur Monday afternoon, February 18, at 2:30 PM
in the Fine Arts Center ceramics lab. The presentation was set up for
the benefit of my intermediate and advanced clay students, but we will
have room for a few extra people if you are interested. Immediately
following the demonstration both artists will show slides of their
work. Additional examples of their work are currently on display in our
main gallery.

If you are near by and can get free on a week day. Come join us.
