I am trying to find a tile artist and Denise Lana of Clay Times suggested
I post my question here.
She was in the Seattle area about ten years ago. May still be there, I
don't know.
The first time I say her work was in a artists gallery in Tacoma
Washington. The last time was about 2 years ago in a shop in Bellevue
Square shopping center in Bellevue Washington. I've since moved away.
She creates single tiles with whimsical pictures & sayings on them.
She has a tile with a picture of Little Red Riding hood & the Big Bad Wolf
sitting on a porch swing with the saying "Every now & then a good wolf
comes along." (Or something like that).
I want to order a 3x2 tile mural of this design for my kitchen counter in
the house I'm building.
I've daydreamed about this ever since I saw it & now that I'm building a
house, I really must find her.
Can anyone possibly help me in my quest? I need her name & where/how I can
get in touch with her.
Thanks,
Susan

No, Michele, I believe the Seattle area artist she's looking for
is Irene Otis, on Vashon Island, WA: 206-463-2506...
Good luck! Pat Colyar
