Craig;
The idea was to put !0000 as the first entry in the address book, with the
theory that a virus program intent on sending out mailings would look to the
first entry and it would be invalid, therefore nothing else would go out. I
have it in my address book but have no idea if it really works. But it
can't hurt to try.
My understanding is that the newer programs are a little more intelligent
and grab random address from the book.

My computer science-student son aka Techno Wizard at Florida International
University says "Nah. Those things send to each address and you just get a
bounce message from the ones that don't work. Not a desirable way to find
out which addresses to delete."
