In 1991 or 1992 I went to a gallery in Atlanta (that was near the old Amtrak station downtown and near an alley-like area that had lots of artists studios)(and near the IHOP if that's any help) and saw an artist's works that were big tile wall murals, done in a primative folk sort of style. It was the first time I'd really seen tile done as an art form (not just bathroom covering -- LOL) and I was really impressed. Stood and stared in awe -- unfortunately I can't remember her name (pretty sure it was a her) -- memory like a steel seive and all that. Can anybody help?
