Dear Jennifer Greene,
An interesting proposition but one which may be difficult to achieve =
unless you are willing to do a lot of research with materials and =
experiment with a variety of application techniques.
Perhaps the starting point is to objectively describe the surface you =
intend imitating. From my knowledge of Salt Glaze, it can vary from =
something which has a high glass which is mirror smooth to a coarse =
crusty knobbly texture and the colour can vary from black through the =
Sienna and Ochre range to pure white.
Once that is done, I can make suggestions.
