I would like to do some test runs on reactive glazes. Does anyone have some
good black/turquoise glaze formulas that I can try as a starting point - at
any cone range as seen in Kenneth Clark book on Tile Making, Designing and
using. Thank you.

Hello Llewellyn
Will you explain me what is reactive glaze?
Something is missing in my glaze-education...

Llewellyn,
Not quite sure what you mean by reactive glazes but you can get some
special effects with the use of vanadium both in glazes and as a
solution under a glaze.
I have had an article on this published in the latest issue of Ceramic
Review (Issue 204 - November/December 2003) which includes the recipes
and formulae tested.
If you can't readily see this journal, I am working on an additional
page to my web site at the moment to illustrate what I am doing.
Hopefully this will be out in a day or so.
