I don't think you can copyright a specific shape or configuration. You
can copyright an "original work of authorship" that is "fixed in any
tangible medium of expression" (Section 102(a)U.S. Copyright Act) I
think that applies to individual works of art. You can patent a
technique or process if it is truly unique.
