The Genesee Center for the Arts and Education is seeking qualified
candidates for the position of Executive Director.
GCAE is a unique community-based arts organization. Made up of the
Community Darkroom, Genesee Pottery, and the Sunken Room Gallery, GCAE
offers photography and ceramics instruction and programming. GCAE also
supports vibrant arts outreach programs for Rochester's urban youth.
The Executive Director's responsibilities include writing and overseeing
grant applications, directing fundraising and publicity, and effective
management of the Center staff and office.
Qualifications: A four-year degree plus demonstrated experience in budget
oversight and administration and personnel management. Grant writing and
fundraising experience preferred.
Salary commensurate with experience.
