Hello fellow potters,

I am studying the design & styles of pots that are organic & earthy
looking....a little heavily thrown.....thick rims and handles....substantial
pots. Can anyone recommend potters or website that have this style. I saw a
pic of a Bruce Cochran pot on a poster...it was a style that was I was
looking for....but can't find his website. Does he have one?

Can anyone recommend sites?...or even books to study this design?

Thanx!

Happy Potting!

Debbie

I love Tony Clennells tea pots. They are substantial, but with grace. http://sourcherrypottery.com/

Hi Debbie. I've been working on a body of work I call "Opened Earth" that I
think fits the bill, at least as far as earthy goes. Pieces have recently
been accepted into "Earth, Wheel & Fire" and Bemidji's "It's Only Clay".
Check them out on my website. If you'd like to talk about them, feel free to
give me a call, I'm always happy to share ideas.
Eric
