Hi Everyone:
I just graduated college and need to find some place in the Chicago area that access to ceramic kilns and firing. Does anyone know of any? I specifically need access to Cone 10 reduction and smoke firing capabilities.
Thanks for your help.

Start your search at Lill St. Studios 4401 N.
Ravenswood @ Montrose 773-769-4226. It's a great
facility with some artists' studio rented as well as
classrooms, etc.
In suburban Oak Park, there is also Terra Incognito.
If you need more leads, write me back off list - there
is also a small fairly unknown facility in Lincoln
Park whose name I don't know but can find out.

There's also a place in Evanston, right off the lake, close to Northwestern.
I'm not sure if this is the place or not but here's a contact:
Midwest Clay Guild
(847) 475-9697
1236 Sherman Ave
Evanston, IL 60202
The place I'm talking about has classes and you can rent work space too.
