Does anyone know how to get in touch with Kenneth Baskin? I saw his
sculptural work at Blue Spiral in Asheville and was blown away. Would love
to get in touch with him somehow. His gallery bio said BFA College Creative
Studies in MI, and MFA University of SC.
Thanks,
Erik Haagensen

Hi Erik,
Here is what I could locate on Kenneth Baskin:
He is apparently currently an assistant professor at McNeese State
University at Lake Charles, Louisiana, and you will see from his Blue Spiral
bio that he has work in the Oakland Community College, Michigan though there
is no mention of his assistant professorship there, perhaps because he
hadn't secured the position at the time of its writing.
I found one piece online from the latter institution, and his university
contact info at the McNeese website. The Blue Spiral site has his more
current work, and a bio, though it was wrongly linked and I had to work out
the url for myself:

Here's a reference to Ken that mentions he was an MFA student in April 2004,
or more likely, just ending his MFA studies at that time:

From this press-release comes a complete cv up until 2004:

(As you can see, he has a number of connections in the Detroit area.)
If you want to try telephoning him, here are the White Pages Results for:
