looking for book on glass

Yes, I know this is clayart, but I'm thinking about fooling around w/
my kiln, a couple of my slump molds, my underglazes...and doing some
glass plate making.
Is there a good book about that for a beginner?
I'm not even sure what the technique would be called. Would it be
glass fusing?
Has anyone here also fooled around with making glass plates in their
kilns?
Thanks for any help...
Sharon

Try www.warmglass.com

Also do a search for warmglass on amazon. I have been looking into
this as well. I have purchased several books on warm glass.

Dear Sharon Miranda,

My old friend and lecturer Charles Bray wrote a companion to the Hamer =
Dictionary called Dictionary of Glass, Materials and Techniques. There =
is a short illustrated section on "Slumping"

Best regards,

Ivor Lewis.

I would agree with Arnold, the Boyce Lundstrom book is quite good.
Creative Glass Techniques by Eberle is also a good one. Both of
these books would be available from The Potter's Shop. They have a
sale coming up soon. I would definitely order whatever book you
decide on from them!
